- Get advice on topics you’re exploring or decisions you’re weighing.
- Request feedback on ideas, drafts, or plans you’re working on.
- Ask direct questions and receive straightforward, concise answers.
Instead of being just a search tool, Copilot is built to help you reimagine how you find information, explore ideas, and get things done across both work and personal tasks.
How can I use Copilot for work tasks?
In a work context, Microsoft Copilot can help you reshape how you approach everyday tasks by acting as a flexible assistant. For example, you can use it to:
- Clarify information by asking for explanations, comparisons, or summaries in plain language.
- Improve your content by requesting feedback on emails, documents, or presentations.
- Explore options by asking for pros and cons, potential risks, or alternative approaches.
Because Copilot is designed to give straightforward answers, it can help you move faster from questions to decisions, especially when you’re under time pressure or sorting through a lot of information.
Can Copilot be used beyond work?
Microsoft Copilot is built to support both professional and personal use. Beyond work, you can use it to:
- Learn something new by asking for explanations, step-by-step guidance, or background on a topic.
- Get entertainment through ideas for stories, games, or creative prompts.
