Signal65 Report: Analyzing Unified HPE ProLiant Compute, Efficiency, and Security

This Signal65 Report focused on analyzing Unified HPE ProLiant Compute, Efficiency, and Security walks you through how HPE's unified compute stack can help you rethink distributed and edge operations. You'll see how the HPE ProLiant DL145 Gen11 with AMD EPYC handled AI image inference workloads with less than 2% latency degradation as ambient temperatures climbed from 75°F to 105°F, while staying below 50 dB at 1 meter in an enclosure. That means predictable AI performance in real-world edge spaces like factories, retail, or branch offices without dedicated cooling. The report also details how HPE iLO 7 streamlines everyday tasks—such as firmware updates and how HPE Compute Ops Management lets you create persistent server groups, onboard systems quickly, and use AI to forecast future CO₂, energy use and cost for ESG planning. IN 1983, the firm’s principals—Maureen and Stewart Lande, a husband and wife team—began in the technology field and became a leading Apple computer dealer and repair center. The company also became one of New York’s first Platinum Novell Networks re-sellers.

IN 1994, Maureen Data Systems (MDS) emerged from the sale of The Lande Group, a leading New York systems integrator, which was sold to a NASDAQ-listed IT firm, AlphaNet. At the time of the sale, The Lande Group had over 250 employees, four locations, and revenues of over $50 million—and was recognized as one of the “IT Leading Systems Integrators” by LAN Magazine.

IN 1995, MDS was incorporated as a woman-owned enterprise (WBE). MDS is now a WBE certified company at the local (NYC), state (NY & NJ) and federal levels. The company is headquartered in New York City.

IN 2018, MDS expands to Latin America and the Caribbean region, working out of the Miami, Florida office.
